BIO
Prof B P Panda joined the WB National University
of Juridical Sciences as a Professor of Law in
April 2009. Before coming to NUJS, he was
working as a Professor of Law at the Berhampur
University in Orissa. Prof Panda attained LL.B
degree (Gold Medal) in 1979; PhD degree in 1994
and LL.D degree in 2006 from Berhampur
University.
He has also been the Principal of the Lingaraj
Law College, Berhampur University. Prof Panda
has guided many research scholars in completing
PhD degrees. Prof Panda was conferred the Fellow
of Indian Society of Criminology in 1999.
