BIO:

Dr. Bhat joined NUJS in 2007 after having worked as a Lecturer at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and researching a major project on space law for ISRO. He has obtained LL.B. degree from Mangalore University by securing Third Rank and Gold Medal. He has completed Masters Degree with International Law and Business and Trade Law as specialisation from University of Mysore. He was the University topper and Gold Medallist for his LL.M. He has done his Ph.D. on 'The Legal Status of the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies - Implications of the Concept of Common Heritage of Mankind'. Dr. Bhat is also a member of the International Institute of Space Law, France.
