She joined NUJS on the first of September, 2006. Her interest areas are corporate and fiscal laws. She offers corporate and business law courses to both the undergraduate and Post–graduate students at NUJS. The core area of her teaching and research includes Company law, Law of Insurance, Corporate Finance laws, Capital market laws, Foreign Investment laws etc. She has also been an adjunct / visiting faculty/resource person to various management training and up-gradation programs organised by corporate houses and educational institutions of repute. She has rich experience of conducting classes through two-way interactive live digital online platforms. She has participated and presented her research papers at various National and International Conferences on various critical legal issues. Most of her research work/writings published in various national and international journals of repute is on critical legal issues pertaining to securities regulations, regulation of stock exchanges, regulation of securities settlement system, corporate governance, creditor’s interest, corporate takeovers/mergers/ restructuring, corporate lending and borrowing etc.
She is also a member/faculty advisor to a number of committees at NUJS and has been executing her responsibilities as warden, Girls’ Hostel since the year 2006 i.e. since the date of her joining NUJS. She has also completed Master in Software Engineering, before joining NUJS.
