Yes, program/ tuition fee can be paid either in US Dollars or in equivalent INR.

The admission in WBNUJS Kolkata is on the basis of merit obtained in CLAT. Those who qualify CLAT are required to participate in the Counselling process for seeking admission, based on the candidate’s preferences and his/her merit in CLAT in the respective programmes.

The Online allotment of seat is done through CLAT Consortium.

For UG: There is be no upper age limit for candidates appearing for UG Programme through the CLAT 2023.
For PG: There is no upper age limit for appearing for the CLAT 2023.

Final decision regarding reservation policy will be taken by the Competent Authority of the University.

No. We only have the following:

  • CLAT Seats (General/OBC/SC/ST/PWD etc.) Admissions are based on the ranking obtained by the student in the entrance exam conducted by CLAT Consortium
  • Foreign Nationals Category Seats Admissions are based on as per the marks/grades obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
  • NRI/NRI Sponsored Category Seats
  • J&K residents Category Seats

It is mandatory for all universities/institutions offering professional and technical programs in India to be recognized by the national level statutory bodies established for the maintenance of norms and standards. Indian degrees are recognized worldwide. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999) adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July, 1999. The University was notified under Clause (f) of Section 2 of the UGC Act, 1956 in August 2004 and has been granted affiliation by the Bar Council of India.

The duration of the course at WBNUJS Kolkata are stated below –

  • BA LLB — 5 Years
  • LLM —– 1 Year
  • MSc (Forensic Sciences) — 2 Years
