Mr. Atish Chakraborty is a graduate of the founding batch of Amity Law School, Amity University, Kolkata in 2020. He also obtained his LL.M. degree from Amity Law School, Amity University, Kolkata in 2021. During his under-graduate studies, he emerged as the bronze medallist in his batch and emerged as the gold medallist in his batch during his graduate studies. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
Prior to joining West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata he taught at his alma mater, Amity Law School, Amity University, Kolkata and Nowgong Law College, Assam where he offered courses on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Law of Contract and Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing. He has also worked as an in-house counsel for Mobile Premier League (MPL).
His areas of interest include arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, interface of law and technology, gaming law and consumer law.
At present, he offers compulsory courses on Interpretation of Statutes, Law of Torts including MV Act and Consumer Law and Clinic-II (Alternative Dispute Resolution).
