Developments in aviation and space laws and policies are taking place rapidly on a day-to-day basis. Due to the evolving nature of space technology, law and policy challenges are also increasing exponentially. Hence, evaluating the current legal disciplines to assess the gap between the law, policy, and technology and other connected areas in the aviation and space sectors is of great significance. In light of this, Lex ad Coelum is a journal for high-quality discourse on laws and policies relating to the twin disciples of aviation and space. Carrying forward this mandate, the bi-annual journal is devoted to publishing only novel papers that provide critical insight into aviation law and space law developments. Since 2021, Lex ad Coelum has been operating as a flagship journal of CASL. In order to meet the high standard, submissions are sought from established scholars in aviation law or space law. The journal has a dedicated scholarly review board, and submissions are not accepted unless they clear the process of blind peer review. Submissions for Lex ad Coelum are accepted, and the web version of accepted articles is published on a rolling basis under two issues every year. PDF versions of the issues are published towards the end of each semester. To ensure maximum benefit to a variety of stakeholders in both aviation and space sectors, the publication is kept accessible freely for all.
