Dr. Tilottama Raychaudhuri is Associate Professor at NUJS Kolkata. She is also a member of the Network of Competition Experts [NICE] India and is the Co-Chair of the NICE Cartel Working Group [CWG] of the Competition Commission of India, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. Tilottama offers courses in Competition Law (under graduate and post graduate) and the Law of Torts (under graduate) at NUJS. Prior to starting her academic career, Tilottama worked at the Sahara India Group of Companies, at their Head Office in Lucknow, and thereafter as Law Associate in D.P. Ahuja & Co. Kolkata, at their Trademark and Copyright Department. Tilottama obtained her LL.B. from Symbiosis Law College, Pune, where she ranked 1st and her LL.M. from NUJS where she was awarded the S. Gopalakrishnan Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Subsequently she joined NUJS as faculty and obtained her M.Phil. in International Trade Law and her Ph.D. in Competition Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
Tilottama is Coordinator of the Centre for Competition Law, NUJS, and works with the Competition Commission of India in carrying out competition assessment of policies and legislations. She is also the Faculty Advisor of the Society for International Trade and Competition Law [SITC] which organises the NUJS-CCI National Competition Law Moot.
