Ruchika Ghosh


Ruchika Joined NUJS as a Faculty Member in November 2015. She has passed from the Modern High School for Girls where she was elected as School Prefect. Thereafter, she has done her B.A.L.L.B.(Hons) from NUJS and her Masters from University College London specializing in International Business Law. She cleared the UGC- NET in July 2018 and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in NUJS. She has worked as a Junior Research Fellow under the MHRD (IPR) Chair from 2015-16. She. She has extensive experience in litigation, having worked at a leading national law firm as well as having practised independently with eminent Barristers in various forums, including the Supreme Court and Calcutta High Court. She is very interested in pro bono work and has been actively with the legal aid cell of Calcutta High Court. She has interned with NGOs, a Supreme Court Judge, Senior Advocates and national law firms. She has authored articles for renowned national journals and presented papers in various seminars. Her areas of interest are varied, including Intellectual Property Laws, Corporate Laws, Procedural laws and Competition Law. Her extra-curricular activities include swimming, trekking etc. She is a Gold Award Holder of The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Completed a Certificate Course on “International Cyber Conflicts” from The State University of New York In October 2020.
