Did schooling from St. Agness Convent School, Howrah.
Started practicing as a Counsel immediately thereafter before the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta, and also got the opportunity to appear and/or argue before various other forums both in West Bengal as well as other States. During this tenure of practice had argued several matters in diverse fields, namely, Civil (both Appellate and Original) , Criminal , Service , Constitutional Revenue, Arbitration, Company , Land etc. Had the privilege of working with various seniors and also doing various matters independently many of which got reported in several law journals.
Got the privilege of rendering service of a legal advisor of Ramakrishna Math, Belurmath and Ramakrishna Mission, Belurmath on and from 2018
Was engaged as a Special Counsel by the Government of West Bengal in W.P. No 4682 (W) of 2014 on 27.02.2014 vide Memo No 836(2)-A.
Was engaged as a Special Counsel by the Office of the Commissioner of PoliceHowrah in W.P.No 14796(W) of 2013 on 10.06.2013 vide Memo No. 474/13/Legal Cell /HC-33/13.
Was engaged as a Counsel in several matters for India Government Mint which subsequently became Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd.
Invited to preside the 2nd Dr. Gurjeet Singh National Moot Court Competition,2018 organized on and from 20th –22nd April ,2018.
Appointed in the panel of State Government, Advocate under the category Group-A (Civil) by Notification dated 08.01.2020 by Memo No LR/PA-2/20
Appointed in the panel to deal with cases of Department of Disaster Management and Civil Defence by Notification No 4459-A /Misc-20/2022(Civil) dated 26.8.2022.
Appointed by Hon’ble High Court Calcutta to preside over in the capacity of an Arbitrator in some matters.
Invited to preside the Dr. Rajendra Prasad (First President of India) Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2021 organized on 12th June 2021.
Presently an empaneled Mediator under the “Mediation and Conciliation Committee, High Court Calcutta.
Invited to address as a resource person to update the LL.M students on the ADR, Legal Aid speedy disposal of cases in a webinar organized by Sarsuna Law College.
Was appointed as the external member of ICC Committee to enquire and decide on complaints made under Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act, 2013 with effect from 10.04.2019 at Indian Association for the Cultivation Science and also at PWC SDC Kolkata with effect from 16.04.2019 for two successive years.
Attended online India-Singapore Mediation Summit on 17th July,2021.
Participated and presented a paper titled “Beyond the veil of Illusionary Fantasy lies the trauma of Domestic Violence” at the National Seminar held on 8th March,2022 which was organized by Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur with the National Commission for Women, Delhi.
