Post Graduate Programme

(1 -YEAR LL.M)

The LLM Programe is open to a candidate with an LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination. The admission to this programme is based exclusively on the performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The allotment of seats is done by the CLAT Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on the basis of the CLAT Examination Merit List. Any vacant seats after the first round of admission process is allotted by the University from applicants received against the vacant seats on the basis of the CLAT Examination Merit List.

The specific eligibility criteria for CLAT Examination are determined by the CLAT Consortium of NLUs. Please refer to the CLAT Consortium Website for the latest applicable norms.

*All vacant seats after the conclusion of the admission process by the CLAT and first round of advertisement for admission against vacant seats shall be converted to General Category Seats.

***Seats for specialization shall be allotted by the University after admission on the basis of CLAT Rank on the following basis: 20 seats for Corporate and Commercial Law, 20 seats for International Law, 20 seats for Criminal and Security Laws and 20 seats for Law & Technology. Foreign Nationals shall be allotted the specialization of their choice.

DURATION: The duration of the courses shall be One year through Semester system.

All vacant seats after the completion of the admission process by the CLAT the University will upload admission notice in the website within 30 days of first date of starting of classes for all the vacant seat. After first round of advertisement for admission against vacant seats, seats shall be converted into General Category Seat in case of non availability. Admission will be based on CLAT ranking.
