Established in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises’s IP Facilitation Centre scheme, The Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS) Kolkata is an initiative aimed at empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Bengal through comprehensive support and awareness in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Our Centre is dedicated to fostering innovation, protecting intellectual property, and enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs by providing specialized services and resources.
Our mission is to empower the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in West Bengal by providing them with the necessary knowledge, tools, and support to protect and leverage their intellectual property. We aim to foster a culture of innovation among MSMEs, enhance their competitiveness, and contribute to the overall economic development of the region. By bridging the gap between MSMEs and IP awareness, we strive to create a conducive environment for entrepreneurship and growth.
Our vision is to establish the WBNUJS IPFC as a leading Centre for IP facilitation in the eastern region of India. We envision a future where MSMEs are well-equipped to protect their innovations and compete in the global market. Through our efforts, we aim to contribute significantly to the socio-economic well-being of MSMEs and the broader community, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that drives sustainable development. By aligning our services and initiatives with our mission and vision, we are committed to making a tangible impact on the MSME sector and the overall economy of West Bengal.
